How the math works
Every sale starts with your selling price and subtracts a stack of costs. Getting any one of them wrong is how sellers end up "busy but broke". Here's exactly what this calculator does:
- Net profit = price − product cost − inbound shipping − referral fee − fulfillment fee − ad spend − returns loss − other.
- Profit margin = net profit ÷ selling price. Most healthy cross-border products sit at 15–30%+.
- ROI = net profit ÷ (product cost + inbound shipping) — how hard your cash is working per restock cycle.
- Break-even ACOS = the highest ad cost-of-sale you can run before profit hits zero. Keep your real ACOS comfortably below it.
- Break-even price = the lowest price you can sell at without losing money — your floor for promos and coupons.
