How to compress without ruining quality

Best default: output WebP at quality 75 with a 2000px max — most product photos shrink 60–90% with no visible difference.

About PNG: PNG is lossless, so the quality slider doesn't apply to it — PNG files mainly shrink by reducing dimensions. For real size savings, output WebP or JPG instead.
